These things are ideal for permanently (semi) adding new electronics to a car or truck. I've been planning on installing dashcams for both of our cars and these were exactly what was needed. Installation went well and was fairly easy. The crimps held on to the new electronics wire tightly. The only downside to this item was the small package quantity wise. There was no margin of error for me with the installation.

Unlike many other micro3 taps sold on Amazon, this one actually plugs into a fuse slot without having to manually trim away extra plastic on the plug to get it to fit. Used on a 2024 Suburban.
