I've run these through two cycles on my load tester. Charged to 4.15v and then discharged at 50-100mA rate. If these were (spoiler) the full 1860mAH capacity that's only an 0.05C rate, which is pretty low strain for a LiPO cell. The measured capacity is only 400-500mAH, or less than 1/3 of the stated capacity. Compare this to the OEM cells in some of my PS3 controllers which still pull nearly full capacity. They work, but not nearly as well as claimed.

I have 2 old ps3s, both still work fine and we have a lot of games, but my controllers don't hold a charge well at all anymore, at the most I could get about 20 mins out of them. These replacements fit fine and I let them fully charge up, I ended up stopping my game at just over an hour and still had over half the battery life left.

The are not an exact fit you have to play with the space to get it snug and secured. Took me a while. They do get a charge but it doesn't last as long as the oem batteries.

One battery didn’t or wouldn’t charge so it was immediately replaced with another one. The end results it’s working.

Not sure why they are pricey. Work fine though.

Good 3rd party PS3 controllers are almost non-existent and original PS3 controllers are really hard to find these days as well as being very expensive. Purchasing second hand controllers will probably require battery replacements as well. So I decided to fix my own controllers and got these batteries to drop in. The cost of the batteries makes it very cost-effective endeavor. These batteries worked as expected and has given my controllers much longer playtime.

Brought my PS3 controllers back to life. Installation takes some patience as my older controllers are the type with small case pieces around the buttons.

The Playstation 3 is getting up there in age, and it's only a matter of time before the batteries quit working in controllers. Sony's not making them anymore, so it is nice to see third parties stepping up with replacement parts to keep older hardware running. The size and shape of these batteries is spot on as a perfect drop-in replacement. Getting a new mini USB cable for charging is as nice touch, as those have been fewer and farther between in recent years. These function as advertised, with one exception being the battery capacity. The labels on the batteries are claiming these to be 3.7V, 1860 mAh batteries. If this were true, these batteries would be able to last more than triple the time the OEM controller batteries (570mAh) would have lasted when new.I used an external charger to run capacity tests on these batteries. After fully charging, I selected the slowest drain my tester could use to test batteries, which was 100mA, and both batteries unfortunately ended up testing right around 700mAh (688 and 706).So, that's not to say the batteries are bad, as they are at least a little better than the OEM batteries, but they're only about 20% better, when they are being advertised as being about 325% better, and I don't appreciate overinflated claims of battery capacity, I just want honest numbers.
