Fits my newer Makita BO4556 finish sander fine, but not the older one. The foam pad seems a little less dense and softer than the original, but at least you get two in the box at this price. I was hoping that this would fit my older Makita finish sander too, even though the part number isn’t listed, but it doesn’t (my fault for thinking that). I’ll keep them for when my newer sander’s pads wear out.

Review of 2 Pack Replacement Pad for Makita BO4556 Sander - 1/4 Sheet Square Sander Pad, Replacement for Makita Part 158324-9-SPD17Quality:Good. The size is exact, holes are well-placed and smooth. Pad is thick and securely attached.Impressions:These are great replacements for my Makita sander. I use this little sander a lot for projects small and large and the pad is wearing out. It's an older model so I was very happy to see this offered. It's great to have two new ones and to have the steel plate as part of the package. My DIY fixes aren't working and having these are just perfect.
