Multi-purpose 8x1.25mm Stud. This guide bar stud has some great ‘off-label’ uses. Made from hardened steel with standard 8mm x 1.25 threads, it can be used in many places where there should be a captured nut. I found it useful to secure the cowling to the frame of my Husq. Lawn Tractor (see pix) to replace the short-lived plastic fastener which is hard to find. This steel stud is sure to last a tractor’s lifetime, and as such I rate it as 5*.
