These could be good if they worked better. They do heat up, but very slowly. And if they just had some way to move air around, they would be more effective. Also, the cord is very short, which makes it difficult to find a place to dry shoes near an outlet. In the bathroom, where outlets are near the sink, they need to be put in the sink to dry because of how short the cord is. For the price, they are okay, but I think with these features and for a few extra bucks, they'd be amazing.

These work well enough for what they are: small heating elements radiating heat into whatever they are placed. Doesnt beat an air vent or a dryer, but will do in a pinch - maybe while traveling, for example.

I must have interpreted the title wrong because when I think of a boot dryer I think of a contraption that circulates warm air to dry an item, in this case a damp shoe or gloves. This item just heats up like a hand warmer. I had a pair of gloves that I washed and dried but the finger holes never quite get fully dry, so I thought these could finish the job... nope, but it did heat up the palm of the glove very well. I just don't see it doing a super good job if air is not circulating. At least make it be rechargeable, so it can be used as a hand warmer without all the cords.

These are a nice compact size for drying shoes and gloves. I'm mostly going to use them for gloves when we are on ski trips. For gloves they are a perfect size but for shoes they are on the small side. I included a pic of them fully extended between a pair of size 11 (mens) shoes. I needed to stuff something behind them to force them to stay about in the middle of the shoe.These do not have any type of fan in them, these are just a heating element surrounded by a plastic shell. With wet shoes I found that it would take over 8hours to fully dry out. This is fine for me because I want something small for travel but if you really want to dry boots you probably need something with a fan which of course is much bigger and more expensive. These will do just fine for occasional use or for travel.Last thing, there is no automatic shutoff, it will go forever so you need to make sure you don't leave this unattended. I have another pair that automatically shuts off after 4/6/8 hours and I now I really appreciate that.

I ordered these shoe dryers after my experiences on a recent motorcycle trip. On the trip I often ran into substantial rain and when I stayed overnight, I had to ask my hosts for ways to dry my gloves and boots. A space heater was often used, but this sort of dryer does it much better and more efficiently. I like that these easily fit in either shoes or gloves to dry them. It is also useful for pre-warming shoes or gloves before going out in the cold. I like that they store compactly back in their own box. Five stars.

We used these after Halloween Horror Nights at Universal in Orlando, Florida. For anyone that has gone, you know it rains most afternoons/ evenings. We got totally soaked, splashing through puddles having a grand time in the pouring rain. Got back at 3 am with fairly damp shoes, put these bad boys in and our shoes were completely dry by 10 am. 4 different types of shoes in 4 different sizes and it worked for all of them. I was hesitant because they don't have a fan but the heat worked well and didn't damage any of our shoes. Will definitely be using again!

We live in Alaska and get some pretty wet summers and winters. These boot dryers are just what I needed to speed up the drying process. The dryers do not get too hot so there isn't much risk of overheating and damaging the shoes. You can even slide these into gloves or mittens to help them dry out as well.I do wish that the cords were a little longer to allow me to use these in taller boots. For the price I do think these are worth looking at.

Helps dry shoes after a wash or along day in them. Easy to use. Easy to store when not in use.
