This silicone brush mat is perfect for holding different size paint brushes while I am painting. It makes painting so much easier because I can set multiple brush sizes down, even with paint still on them, without worrying about making a mess or the colors mixing. Very much comes in handy while working quickly between fine and larger detail paintings.

This is a fantastic tool for anyone who paints - no more searching for a place to lay down your paintbrush! I originally thought I would use it when painting artwork but it will come in just as handy when painting a wall. There are two of these in the package so I think I'm going to use one of them in my kitchen to hold my long handed spoons, spatulas, etc. while I'm cooking. These are nice and roomy and would work perfectly there as well. I highly recommend these versatile holders!

I bought these as a present for my wife who paints Rocks as a hobby.During the painting process you can use a lot of brushes - Thin fine brushes, wide flat brushes, even dry brushes for feathering. You want easy access to a brush when you need it, and you can't just put it down on the counter. You need some kind of way to keep them organized and separate. And when you are done, you'd like to have a quick easy clean up. That's a lot to ask.These silicon rests are an attempt as suppling a solution.You get two silicone rests (9"L x 5 1/2"W x 1 1/2"T), each with 6 - 1/2" wide rests. The rests are made from silicon, so they are easy to clean. And the flexible material lays flat and sticks to most hard surfaces.You can use the rests in any direction that works for you. My wife likes to have the bristles extending over the long side of the rest in most cases which provides the most protection from drips.So far, the rests have done a good job. They do take up space, so they still require some management. But they are lightweight, easy to store and clean up easy. In general, they don't take a lot of prep time.In use grabbing a brush is convenient. During some projects a single brush or two needs to be washed many times. This rest gives you the space and area to let it drip and dry. Over time you will come up with your own process. But a space for separation, and control of drips and paint color is always needed. These are inexpensive and should last a long while. We would recommend them.
