Perfect foam for using inside a semi hard case. Used for storing a vape catridge gun. I got a case just a little bit bigger the cartidge gun and cut the foam into 2 pieces to line the inside of both side of the case so the cartridge gun and all the accessories, and power cords would fit inside nicely and not clank around and get damaged.

The foam panel provides just the right amount of muffling without deadening the tone of the bass drum. I bought one sheet, and cut it into two separate custom size pieces for my 22” and another 20” kick drum

This Sound Panel works really well! This Panel comes folded and vacuum sealed into a small (approx.) 11"x11" x 2" package. After opening the outer and inner clear packaging, this 24" x 48" x 2" foam egg crate style sound panel quickly expands and almost completely inflates on it's own. There is no smell and I found that by steaming it, it will inflate completely and only needs to dry for an hour or so. This foam sound panel really cuts down on any echoes and helps to mute the immediate area where it is placed.5 Stars

Edges were all rough cut, out of square and a bit ragged, it worked for our purposes but every edge had to be squared and we lost about 20% or more in waste.

Picked up to insulate a noisy window pane outside a busy road. It arrived vacuum sealed. To my delight, they pretty much inflated themselves the second I broke the vacuum seal and fully inflated themselves right up. There were no smell or gassing like other things I have gotten like a foam mattress or something like that. While maybe the manufacturer didn’t intend on doing this, they do cut very easily with standard scissors to accommodate any shape or size. It seemed to help with the noise but have no noise audible meter to prove or disprove what I noticed. All in all, this sheet of foam seems to be decent and did the job from what I can tell. It seems to be of decent quality and would recommend it for being a less expensive soundproofing option available.

There's quite a few foam offerings like these, this one being different in that it comes as a 2'x4' sheet instead of a bunch of 12”x12” squares. It's 2" thick which is an improvement over what I was seeing a year or 2 ago when 1" thickness was what you mainly found. The egg carton pattern is fairly standard, not super attractive in my opinion, but the point (I believe) is to break up sound waves, so these should do that well. I don't have any way to scientifically measure it however.Unpacking them, there was no noticeable smell and they resumed their expected height within a few minutes of me spraying some water on them. I didn’t soak them, I used a plant mister because it takes too long to dry them if you submerge them. I did some really thick bass traps last year, submerged them, and it took a week to dry them out… not doing that again!I rated these 3 stars because they are about average, a little better on price than some, but I wish they would have supplied a couple of sheets of those 2-sided sticky tabs to seal the deal. I’m not super fond of the tabs but with enough of them, they’d probably work. They need to be some that don’t come with a warning to not use them on painted, porous surfaces… I find that particularly annoying, especially when they fall off! I mean, who doesn’t paint their sheetrock? And if it was professionally finished, it almost certainly has an orange peel surface texture, so give us tabs that work with that, please. This foam seems a little heavier than some of the other products I’ve tried recently, but not by much. They call it cotton at one place in the product description, and foam right after that, so I don’t know what it really is. Maybe that accounts for the perceived extra weight, but it’s hard to judge because of the size difference. If I was to name one bonus about this piece of foam, it’s that the size makes it easy to use in scenarios where you need to stuff a space with a large piece, like perhaps in a kick drum. You’ve seen where people use a blanket for that, but I’m thinking this could be equally effective and not so heavy.

This acoustic panel looks well made and of good quality material. I am putting acoustic panels up in the room where I practice my drumset and have been checking out and appraising varies options. The description on the Amazon website says " installation is quick and easy" and also "installation process is easy and simple". What they don't tell you is that you need to go to the store and buy some spray glue to spray the back side before you can install it. Some other acoustic panels do have adhesive on the back side, but I have not yet found foam panels with adhesive and I do really like this acoustic panel, so 5 stars for a great product. I will be buying more of these.UPDATE: The first panel I bought was perfect and I gave it 5 stars. But, I just bought a 2nd panel and it is not as good a quality as the 1st one. The 2nd panel is a little thinner and narrower and the corners are not well defined. Plus it is more of a dark grey than the black 1st one. So, the rating has been down graded to 4 stars for the inconsistent quality.
