This comes with o-rings that are to small for the groves. It leaks.

The original nylon part was extremely hard to install and would constantly strip itself out. This part fits much better and doesn't strip itself. Huge upgrade.

Existing was plastic , I had to drill it out trim tab was stuck , this helped because I messed up the existing threads this and Teflon tape solved the problem

Trim motor shorted out when I tried to loosen the stock nylon valve snapped in half. This one won't vast improvement over the Mercury stock one. .But I wish it had a hex head instead of the flat head slot.

This is a must if you are in and out of your trim motor. Even if you aren’t, the plastic ones that come factory suck! Now we don’t have to worry about this one breaking.

It would be nice if it came with the safety washer, but that's pretty minor inconvenience. Overall, this fit my tilt system perfectly.
