I've needed this transom saver for my boat for a while. These are absolutely perfect for my needs. The stout rubber supports snap on the trim hydraulic and for snuggly. These are so very easy to n use, just raise the motor, slip on this support, and lower the motor to compress the support a bit. It seems to provide good support for the motor and I will have more confidence now, while trailering my rig over these pothole laced Minnesota roads.

Easy to install and easy to remove before and after trailering. This type of rubber trailer lock provides cushioning which serves to protect the transom on your boat. This is especially important with today’s 4 stroke outboard which are much heavier than the older 2 strokes. That said, this fit our Yamaha F90 outboard perfectly and worked well. We’ll use this trailering lock on our back and forth trips to our boat ramp all the time now.

I've tried these on, but I have not yet traveled with them. Of course there are 2 and I only need 1, but nice to have a spare. These will work great.

Truly heavy duty. Heavy weight rubber - stays in place and keeps the steering from moving.

These transom savers work on my 70HP Yam and provide needed support when I am transporting the car more than a mile or two. If your motor is like mine, you will only need one, but as the boating world is all about redundancy, it's nice to have a spare to keep in the tow vehicle, etc. I also have a different, more recognized brand of transom saver and this is very comparable at a much lower price except that the opening is a bit smaller and you have to work a bit harder to fit it to your motor. One thing my boating mentor (i.e., my older neighbor) taught me is that I should put it on and then turn it around so the opening is facing the motor. Doing it this way, as opposed to the way in the product photos, makes it much less likely that it will fall off in transport.

They seem to work just like the name brand products. No problems here
