These adapters fit well & release the batteries easily for charging. Not all after market adapters work this good.

My Milwaukee battery will not lock in and it falls out. Also one of the electrical connector pins has moved so the battery doesn’t even connect anymore. This was all after maybe 5 minutes of use. I’d never order this again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I've used these before and they are very good. I like having the capability of charging other items with the provided USB port as well! Works well if you have old 18v and you want to upgrade to 20v batteries without breaking the bank. Plus you don't need to get rid of the old 18v tools and add more waste to the dump.

I started with DCA1820 adapter, which worked fine, but then I found this device that added a USB-A output.The adapter works great, fits all my 18v DeWalt gear with 20V batteries + the added bonus of USB-A charger in stand-alone mode. Other reviewers warned about weak "clamps" that may allow the adapter to fall out of your DeWalt power tool; I have NOT experienced that. I also am NOT a daily user. I have light home projects that I work on for maybe a day or two, I'm not pounding away at the batteries or the adapter for days on end, so your mileage may vary depending on use case.That's one of the reasons I went with the adapter - I wanted 20V battery stamina, but I didn't need nor was I interested in spending big money on a complete DeWalt 20V power tool kit overhaul. This thing breathed new life in to my 18V kit allowing me to simply upgrade the batteries instead of the whole ensemble.
