this battery cover for the xbox 360 wireless controller, not only covers your batteries, but holds them too. it's a more reliable design than the oem battery cover at least in my experience, considering it's lacking the "is the cover fully seated" switch the oem cover has. it's a really well made battery cover actually, doesn't add much to the controller in terms of weighing anything, if you want the controller to be heavier just use heavier batteries.i don't have a black controller but the white battery cover is color matched to the controller super well.for the very budget price of 6 clams, this is a very value deal for 2 whole battery covers. very nice :)

Snaps in as expected, and the color match is great for my white controller. This was a replacement for a corroded pack.

Wanted to play with my old Xbox 360 again. 1 of my controllers no longer turned on because an old battery had corroded onto the contact point of the cover. For the other, the controller worked but it was hard to remove the batteries to replace them, they were really stuck in there.Now with these covers, both my controllers power on and the batteries come out easily when they need replacing. These work great.

Replacing old rechargeable batteries, replacing with AA limited use. Came to find I no longer have the old controller battery packs that came with the controllers. And, as I would have, use 1 black and 1 white controller. This company sold in 3 pairs, black, white, and mix. Thank you.No problems on adding batteries, each pack identifies + -, and they snap right in with no issues. Product works just as expected.
