These are very small diameter. Not even close to fit a standard auto battery.

Description says it fits a 2005 Hyundai Sonata but it doesn’t. It was too thick and too small for the battery post. I hammered it thinner and molded it to fit. It was a pain.

The large one was about 0.55 inches at the top. I had to bend it out and it still almost didn't fit. I didn't have the luxury of waiting to get a bigger one so I had to make it work.

I got these because the Walmart battery I bought had one battery post thinner than the other. It made it very hard to keep my terminal attached to it while driving.I have a terminal that's over 20 years old and it's not easily bendable, so I wasn't able to get these to work for me. I can say they are great quality, they are easily bendable by hand and they did fit snugly around the battery post, BUT they're just so incredibly thick that unless you have a more adjustable terminal, you're not going to be able to get the terminal to slide down over these things.The ones I've seen at AutoZone are much thinner and cap-like so I will have to go get them. I am going to keep these in case I end up with another car that has better terminals. I'm not mechanically inclined enough to change them out on my own.

These battery post shims are too big for my OEM terminals. The manufacturing is a bit crude, but they should work with bigger terminals.
