Upon receipt these lights looked and appeared to be a simple plug-n-play installation for my 2025 RDX A-Spec Advance. No extension wires needed. Took less than 30 seconds on each side to pop out the stock puddle light and replace it with one of these. Too bad neither of them worked. Not sure why they were DOA, they were marked as "L" & "R" and I tried them in both sides with no luck. *UPDATE* I ordered another set of these puddle lights from a different supplier here on Amazon. The new lights actually had a metal top to the light assembly like what is pictured in the ad on this page and the socket was angled just like OEM. What was drastically different was the quality of the connection on these other lights. The female receptacle was noticeably deeper and more precise in size and fit. In fact, it was actually a bit of a chore getting the male & female connections to insert. Once lined up and inserted there was a firm and positive "click" and the light immediately came on.
