It definitely made it easier to drag out a deer but it was destroyed with just one use. Not suitable for rocky terrain.

Product ripped rivets out within the first 10 ft of dragging my deer a total waste of money, waste of time!! threw away as soon as I got home.

Used once to haul a deer 100 yards and product is ripped and not useable again. Also will not let me return it. Junk!

When I saw this advertised, I thought why couldn’t I have found this 2 deer ago? Both deer I took this season ran in the opposite direction and had to be drug between 60 and 100 yards, which is getting harder as I approach 60. The deer’s weight and the ground resistance make dragging a deer a task that will wear you out. This is a great simple design that is easy to store in my bag, so it is ready to use when needed. The compact sled is easy to set up and then you just roll the deer on it and affix the pull strap to the neck and you are ready to go. The rope is included so you can tie the deer to the grommet holes and drag the deer. One side is a slick finish and the other matt finish. The sled is nice and long.
