We have several different egg rings ranging in size and material. The metal ones that we had were split where the handle is at an as a result, egg always leaked through at the seam and clean-up was a pain. I was really excited to try these as I prefer metal rings to the silicone ones and the issue with the ring not being complete was addressed with this design. These are larger egg rings and will make egg circles large enough to fit up to a hamburger style bun and completely cover an english muffin. It is necessary to oil these even though they say nonstick. I find it easier to do with cooking spray but there is a small brush included if you would prefer to oil by hand. The head of the brush did detach a little too easy but didn't merit a star reduction. An egg separator is included which is handy if you don't already have one and makes it easy to have just egg whites in the ring. Overall, I am very pleased with the set and may order another one so I can cook four eggs at once and speed up those homemade egg muffins at breakfast time.

I've been using 3" stainless steel egg rings for years but when I saw these at the larger 4" size as well as non-stick, I ordered them and... I like them.Besides being larger and non-stick (compared to what I already have), these have an anti-scold coated handle that folds or is removable. Just wow, because storing my old rings is always a struggle finding space in a drawer with their awkward un-foldable shape (they take up more space than they have a right to). Now I can just fold these babies up and toss them into the drawer, easy peasy. Also included is an oil brush and an egg separator. I will not only use these for eggs but because of the size, they'll make nice sized pancake forms as well. There's a video on the website demonstrating the use of a ring. They use the brush to oil the sides of the ring and the pan. So I'm wondering... if these are non-stick, why are they oiling the ring? Regardless, these are more convenient for me and I look forward to using these regularly for a variety of items.
