These really work! I got these as a stocking stuffer for my wife and myself last Xmas. I found them while looking for cool, unique kitchen gadgets. We love these. Very helpful for cutting onions, but they are just as useful for quickly cutting cucumbers, zuchini...and even slicing hardboiled eggs.

Works as add says . Much easier than than just trying to hold the onion with your fingers. Nice slices for sandwiches and steaks , pork chops. Possible aide for those with disabilities. 5 stars

I liked the ability to push the tongs into both a whole tomato and then an onion, and make even slices fast and easy. I carefully washed the item easily, dried it, placed safety cover back on the tongs. I previously had another model, but the tongs were not sharp so did not easily push into the item being chopped. Plus the color of this item makes it easy to find in my utensil drawer. And, now I have a 2nd one to share with my daughter too.

This makes cutting vegetables so much easier to hold it in place so you don’t cut yourself. Glad I purchased. Seems sturdy.

Very handy gadget, and simple to use. Great for cutting onions, tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and any other vegetable or meats. It makes it so safe and easy to hold on without getting your fingers in the way of the knife. I highly recommend it.
