Strong material~ the solar panel isn’t all that sensitive to be powered by a plant light. That’s usually surprising. It looks absolutely wonderful. It works out really well. In the winter it could be used as a snow globe but I’d have to check the operating temperatures again first. Overall it’s really neat and fun~ decently worth it.

We can’t try this out in the pool since it is winter in the Midwest at present, but we tried it inside anyway. We enjoy lots of time out on the deck most evenings, where we have a view of the pool. I’ve hesitated to use colored lighting in the pool because I have found others over-do that, and in my opinion, effectively diminish the natural ambiance nature provides. The kids talked us into a rather subtle option last season and it wasn’t so bad. In this case, I like the simplicity of this piece, even with the colored lighting. I imagine it floating around the pool and think I’ll enjoy it. It looks like a simple piece of art and I find it quite attractive. It seems sturdy enough to last a while. I expect it will since we have a similarly made ball that glowed with only pale white lighting that has lasted through two or more seasons and it functioned as a beach ball also.

Llegaron en buen tiempo, han estado en la alberca ya por tres meses y no han fallado. Son chicas pero se ven muy bien.

I returned them immediately. They were only 4 inches. The picture shows is giant globe that floats in your pool which you get is two in a box 4 inches wide each… totally misleading.

It works well and it's really pretty. It does float. The only issue with it is that it will deflate if there are big temperature changes. It's not hard to blow up, but it does smell like a chemicals if you do it with your mouth. It wasn't that pleasant to blow up. Otherwise, it's great.It comes on very reliably. It has been winter here, but I have it outside near my hottub. It looks magical at night. It's really pretty. It comes on automatically at night when the sun goes down, and it lasts hours. I've went out at 1 am and it is still on. It will come on during thunderstorms too - if it gets dark, it lights up.

These should be sold as singles as we purchased 2 sets and put them in our pool and one will not hold air. I can't really send it back or find any where to ask for a refund from seller. Overall, they are pretty at night but would not ever buy again with them coming 2 to a pack. I probably need to look for the leak and try and repair it but it should work when you first purchase them.

I could not be happier with my flamingo floatie purchase! The item arrived just as described and is of extremely good quality (compared to other similar floaties). The alternating colors illuminate my pool in the dark and my family and children absolutely love it. Cannot recommend this product more!
