I bought this set prior to Christmas, the knife is insubstantial for it's purpose as the blade bent very easily and the wire broke after regular weekly use! Cheaply made, poor manufacturing therefore you get what you pay for.

This wire cheese slicer is just the device to cut slices from blocks of cheese. It is easy to adjust the thickness of each slice. The wire easily pulls through the cheese to cut the slices. The knife has a curved pointed tip which enables you to grab the slice without touching it with your fingers. This is helpful when making a cheese board for guests. I highly recommend these for your kitchen.

This is a wire cheese knife and a handheld one. Both work great, but I really just wanted the wire one. I prefer the wire cutter for some of the harder cheeses, this cuts through super easily, and I've broken knives in some cheeses before. I don't use the handheld one often, but it does work great. The wire one will cut different thicknesses just like a knife, but there's no bumper on it like you usually get, so if you need uniform slices you'll need to be more careful. I've used this to help cut cubes and such though and it made quick work of that. Easy to clean, I just toss this in the dishwasher and they come out fine.

I love to make charcuterie boards and always hated cutting cheese with a knife, can't seem to get it to slice neatly. This wire cheese slicer works perfectly and each slice looks perfect. It's also easy to clean to when done. I'm very happy with this item!
