Product was similar to first replacement knobs we bought. (Those cracked after about 6 months)They install hard, heavy press fit on the switch post, which I believe is what causes stress in the plastic.Original Broan knobs cracked out inside the bore causing them to become loose and fall off. These crack all the way through the bore to the outside and the knob falls apart in two pieces.For now we will see how these hold up.

I measured the old knob and this one was close in measurement. Took a chance. Works great. Not sure if the orientation is right. The knob only fits one way, but I don't care. It turns and works. I am happy!

Seems sturdier than the OEM's we had but time will tell. The handles seem easier to dial and turn. They look great. Seemed, at first, real tight and did not slide or fit easily on the spindle, but with a certain amount of push and force they grasped on and stopped at their set point. They weren't going to back or slide off. Given the price point, I got the extra set of two for back-up and hope I never have to use them. The originals lasted for 25 years!

These went on very snugThe knobs that came with the rangehood lasted less than 6 months.Couldn't find these in white.Price was great .Happy to have the light and fan back on .
