This is well made of quality materials. I own an1942 home with a closet- without enough beams on the ceiling to support the sagging fiberboard, and no way to access it to add more without ripping it out. Being a senior and disabled, I wasn’t up for that.There is a solid steel clothes bar running the width of the closet. I used a junk circular saw blade to cover more area, and attached the clamp. Easily unscrewed the clamp to the height I wanted it. Looks like the ceiling is holding up the bar, but it is actually the other way around! Problem solved and it looks kinda Art Deco too!

I used these to hold a long white steel pole with weather equipment at the top. They were attached to a laminated post on an "upscale" deck and pergola, so they had to look good. The result was perfect. The stainless steel is still shiny, and no one would ever think they were made for plumbing. The hardware is heavy and solid, and the pole has been held securely even during the recent hurricane.

Works as intended. I used it to stabilize a raised shower head that was loose in the wall. Worked great!
