This is the perfect product for making jelly roll rugs. Take all the work out of making the batting. I will be ordering repeatedly.

These are so handy to have on hand, so much easier than having to cut your own strips, 25 yards on each roll, this is what you need to get for rug making, place mats and other items that take padded strips sewn together. This is the already cut padding for inside of your cut fabric strips.

I've been sewing and quilting for decades and now that I'm getting older anything that helps me cut corners is a gift. I plan on using these for quilt as you go placemats and maybe a little mat to put on my bed where my cat likes to sleep. My vision for that is to include some machine embroidery on top of a patchwork of lighter colors. But that nonsense aside this is a good product. I've purchased wider strips similar to these from another company and I'd say these are comparable.

I guess I should read the description before purchasing. I saw jellyroll batting and assumed it would be 2.25-2.5" in width, but this is 1.5" in width. I'm not going to deduct any stars for that because it clearly states it is 1 1/2"x70 Yards. Regardless it feels like nice batting and I'll find a use for who. Maybe I'll decide this smaller width is better. :)

I have a passion for creating things with jelly rolls. My mother and I have bought a lot of matching jelly rolls, but I can only make so many quilts with them.I recently discovered that you can use jelly rolls to make purses, bags, clothing, and other items, but you need jelly roll batting for these projects. After searching everywhere, I finally found a product that suits my needs.I love that this batting is perfect for small patchwork projects and is designed to fit perfectly with regular jelly roll fabric strips. It comes pre-rolled and is easy to use with your sewing machine right away.The batting is soft but provides enough structure for projects that require firmness. I appreciate that it takes one chore out of my sewing.Overall, it's a great product!
