While being easy to assemble and somewhat functional the lazy susan part is half the diameter of the trays. This allows the unit to tilt when the spices aren’t evenly distributed and enough that some of the narrower jars tip over.

I thought I had bought the same as my first one (which is discontinued :-( ) The steinless steel is a tad less thick and it sounds "cheap" Was worried when I put it in the cupboard. Not heavy, it was wobbling even with the screws tight, and had a tilt. Tightened the screws more... and started storing my spices....it handled the weight just fine. As said in previous reviews, the weight is the trick. I would not put it on a table with just few items on it, not sturdy enough, wooden lady-suzan's are much better for table use. So my spice cupboard look and is much more adequate. A 4****

Always had plastic trays in the past, but this item is much sturdier and holds heavier items such as canned goods, with no problem. The weight doesn't hinder movement of the tray as it turns easily to access items. Plus, the appearance - great.

The diameter of spinner on the base is too small. You have to be careful how you place your spices or take them on and off as the unit will tip. Overall, looks nice. Very thin metal but the edges are rolled so no sharp edges.

Very easy to assemble, works great and holds all the spices we have and more!Only problem is the base that it spins on is a bit small so you have to make sure the spices balance out the weight or else one side will be on the ground and won’t spin well.
