Easy to use by holding it in place with two fire/kilnbricks. It makes a beautiful bar with very little clean up. The sprue is thin enough to get off with good nippers using fine silver.

I had a hard time figuring out the best way to use this mold. I know the basics, pre heating, clamping, pouring, and whatnot, but this design kind of never made the best ingot. My first pour came out just okay, under an ounce by .4 grams, with definite overflow. Every other pour I made never made it to the bottom of the mold. They all had fill and vent issues that never went away, no matter how many different ways I tried my pour.
