I was looking for a hat hook that could hold up something besides a baseball cap. These are big enough to hang a real hat without squashing the brim.

Not much to say…they hold the curtains back, as advertised. They look really nice and are well made.

okay, the negative: it was much smaller than I thought but it works.it is advertised as silver but it is what they call nickel or a soft silvery gold. So it if you want silver do not buy it. I was thrilled it was not silver silver. I needed to match my soft gold curtain rod.positive: The holder can hold back two thick blackout velvet curtains, but it is designed for just one panel.very easy to install. i did not use the anchor and it is holding back heavy curtains. It brings class and elegance to my bedroom

In two separate areas of my house, I have curtains that I only needed one tie back for, so I got these and split them up - using one in each spot.In my office, I have very sheer, thin curtains, so even though there are two, they're not heavy enough to warrant needing multiple tiebacks. I'm very happy with the depth of these curtain holders, as they easily cup all the fabric without obscuring the crystal on the end, or falling off around it.In the foyer, I have one curtain that is very thick and heavy, and this tie back works just as well for it! I utilized the included anchors and screws in both locations, and neither feels like it's going to budge.Because the anchors are a bit flimsy, I used a 1/4th" drill bit and very gently tapped the anchors flush with the wall. The next size down on the drill bits would probably have been a more snug fit, but the anchors themselves can't withstand being hammered into the wall that way. After adding the screw, it becomes a non-issue anyhow. As a nice plus, when a light source hits the crystal of these tie backs, it makes a pretty design!

I used these on the side of my granddaughter's dress-up storage to hold purses, etc. They are very sturdy and pretty.
