I use these B-Type Connector Clasps for the 100 ft of Beaded Ball Chain I just purchased. These connectors make the ball chain into a loop, which can be very useful.

Don’t make the same mistake I did. These are JUMBO sized ball chain connectors. See pics for size relative to your typical consumer chain for something like dog tags. I assume they’d work just fine for the appropriate sized chain, although I feel like the price should be better for only 20 pieces. But maybe I’m just bitter that I made a mistake. Buyer beware. 3 stars.
