These are meant to be flask stoppers, but I've actually bought these to use as speaker port plugs.They do come vacuum sealed, I opened the bag and left them in there for a couple days - by the time I was ready to use them they had perfectly returned to their intended shape. May require a bit of patience, but they do bounce back!The 2" diameter and soft foam is a great fit across multiple bookshelf speakers! Using my speakers with a subwoofer so decided to plug the LCR ports as I didn't need the bass extension and a flatter response curve is never a bad thing.These fit perfectly in my Triangle HiFi Borea BR03, BR02, and BRC1 and helped tighten up the mids while getting rid of some of the bass response (unwanted, in my case).

These do a great job keeping a flask ffee of contamination through autoclave and culturing in a shaker.They can be reused a few times but only on a flask with the same size or smaller mouth as they keep the shape of the flask opening once autoclaved but still seal pretty tightly to the glass.

It fits snug to my 2L Erlenmeyer flask. If it doesn't swell up to size quickly, soak it in some rubbing alcohol. It will rise up to size and also evaporate quickly while sanitizing it.

Came vacuum sealed flat. They are completely deformed after a week open. Maybe it can be used in acouple of weeks or so.

Not foam. More like a cotton-type material. My wife says that they're like make-up removal sponges.They came vacuum sealed, so they're completely crushed, and even after a week open, they have not resumed any shape that could be used for a stopper.Do yourself a favor and spend more at Northern Brewer.

These work for my purposes as a stopper for making beer starters. I just wish they had just a slightly wider diameter. They fit, but slightly loose and could easily be pushed into the flask. (though they do make contact all around, no air space). My foam stopper from Northern Brewer fits a lot tighter and I don't have to worry about this. However, for the price difference, it is acceptable. Finally, don't freak out, these come compressed to save on shipping space. Open them out and let them sit a few days and they will be normal size.
