When I sit upright I can only see half of my phone. If I put a ruse i can see whole phone. Phone picture is curved like the old cinerama. There are white spots on the screen. I don't know if that's part of the screen or just careless manufacture. Total false advertising. It's just a magnifying sheet. Won't help eye strain. Very disappointed. Returning it. Will stop trusting reviews.

I thought this would be a good idea for someone who uses there phone to watch movies. When you do that it can be strenuous on your eyes. Thinking you can hold this on your lap further away from your face and get a larger image that's easier on the eyes to view. My initial impression of the product is flimsy. Not much to it really. All pretty thin plastic except for the rubbery strip where you set your phone. It is something that might seem cool to a kid but for an adult, the quality just is not there. 3 parts - the main cover, a flip up piece that you lean your phone against and the magnifier lens that pulls out and flips up. Yes, it enlarges the screen image however, there is an apparent "halo" effect around the outer areas of the magnifier screen. This also affects the focus of any words displayed on the phones screen. It intensifies any image that might be somewhat out of focus as is the case in some videos. If a child is using it to watch a movie, I think it would seem to be fun for them. If there are any adjustments needed to the phone, it can be somewhat cumbersome. The pull out, flip up parts do not lock in place and tend to fall over if not used on a stable surface. There are little flip out feet on the bottom that can/will keep it tilted back which would help with that issue. But on your lap, say in bed at night watching a movie, it's just is too unstable.

My husband likes to watch some obscure European sports and there are some that can only be watched on his phone on some app or other only compatible with phones. I came across this magnifier for smartphones and knew we needed to have it. What you should know is that every time I tried to take a picture of it working, my phone camera would take the picture with the phone behind at its normal size and not what you actually see through the screen. The second picture I included was the best I could get after stepping far back and it is still not the size it projects on the screen. It is still not what I see. This projector works fantastic and the clarity is great.
