This is a lightweight, inexpensive magnetic liquid mixer. It comes with a little magnet coated with something so it's not scratching up your containers. What I really like about this mixer is that it takes a USB c cord. I have so many around the house already plugged in so I don't have to go looking for a cord. Also, I like that there isn't an attached cord which makes it easier to store and transport, which is a good side effect of having it powered by USB C.

I don't need a heating mixer. Heck, I really don't need this, but I'm getting into custom finishes on furniture and mixing shellac flakes takes time. This is exactly what I needed. It's not set it and forget it at this price point, but my watch has a timer. Otherwise, it turns on, speeds up/down based on the dial. Oh, and it's usb-c. I had a phone charger already plugged in near my work station and I didn't have to use the provided plug. Maybe the provided plug lends more power or something, but again, I'm not having to be entirely precise. We are using this to grow large yeast starters for brewing beer. It is suitable size for a 2L Erlenmeyer flask (I cant speak to anything bigger as that's the biggest we have. This little gadget has an adjustable speed and is *relatively* quiet in use. Definitely fit for our purpose.
