Worked for about 2 days, then worked intermittently for 2 weeks. Remote stopped working after 2 1/2 weeks of use. Went to replace the battery thinking it was old from sitting in stock, but the C3 capacitor fell off the board. too small for me to solder back on. Save yourself some headache & get a higher quality unit.

Some years ago I tried to get a replacement FOB from the Chevy dealership, don't do that. They wanted a hundred plus dollars for a new one, I said forget it. Last week the electronic innards of my key FOB fell out and I lost it for a day. I needed a new one, I went to look for one on Amazon. Great prices compared to dealership. I ordered my replacement key FOB and just got it overnight a couple of days ago. Opened it up, went to the website to program the key FOB to my truck. Easy peezy, works great and I can retire my original key FOB that is literally falling apart.

I bought this product for a 2001 GMC Yukon XL. It worked right away. With no problems whatsoever. Remote has unlock, lock and alarm. All those functions work as they are supposed to. The reason I didn't give this product five stars is because it does have a bit of a delay to it. Nothing massive. It also does not work the way other car remotes work in that you have to be close to the car. I have other cars that I could lock and unlock from my couch. That won't happen with this remote. You're gonna have to be almost about to grab the door handle.

I am so happy with my new remote. I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado that has been with me for over 20 years. A couple years back my remote quit and I have just lived without keyless entry because the places I had checked wanted over $100 to purchase and program a new fob. I then ran across these and thought well I'll give them a try. This new fob was very well priced, and identical to my original. The remote was super easy to program with the instructions provided. Well it has the company's website that you simply put in your year make and model for your vehicles. Then specific instructions for your vehicle come up. Did not take me 5 minutes to program. The fob was also packed and shipped very good also in a timely manner. All together I'm 100 % satisfied with the product, would buy again and would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone I know.
