This aluminum drive pulley is made from cast aluminum and care must be used when installing onto a drive motor shaft. I did properly install this one with no problems but I have had a problem with one and known several to experience problems with these aluminum pulley assemblies. They can easily warp or become too distorted to use if they get bent during installation or removal. Always be very cautious when installing aluminum pulleys and do not beat on them with a hammer ever.
