I returned 2 of these chargers/light/battery source items because they didn't work. The first one would charge up but even the light didn't work consistently. If I could hit the button just right it would come on for a few seconds. If the light isn't working then the plugs won't work either. So I packed it up and returned it. I received the replacement quickly but it had the same problem. Just doesn't work. After 2, I gave up.

It works and good price. Has an internal cooling fan. Used it on my CPap machine. No issues!

It doesn't fit any DeWalt battery I have, old or new. Doesn't any other power tool batteries I have either. Waste of time and money. I'm done with Amazon

I originally purchased this tool to provide a portable 110 AC source to run the low voltage fan with an AC adapter on a Big Buddy Pro propane heater in the event of a power outage. it turns out that it can also run the fan on my fireplace insert, which is great when we lose power in the winter. I use 20V Max DeWalt tools, so this can run off of any of those batteries that I already have on-hand. We typically have a weather alert radio, a clock radio and a table lamp on our night stand all plugged into a power strip. I plugged that power strip into this unit and it was able to run all three devices at one time, so this would once again be very handy during a power outage. The small LED light on the unit is bright enough to be useful. It's pretty slick to be able to carry a 100 AC outlet around in the palm of your hand. I plan to not keep my rechargeable DeWalt batteries connected to the device except when it's in use. The phone/computer charging outlets are a bonus. We'll see how long it lasts during actual use, but as of right now, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Gave this as a gift to someone making into an off grid cabin. He uses Dewalt tools exclusively for work and has a lot of batteries around including their larger capacity battery. We used the inverter and flashlight with the smaller batteries and it worked perfectly for a little light and to charge phones. Then today the ultimate happened. We used the larger capacity battery and used the inverter to power a tv for an hour. The battery only went down one bar, so we think we can use this for 4 hours of tv between charges. This was the absolute best Black Friday purchase I’ve ever made. This is such an economical solution for power before we upgrade to a full solar / wind system and wire the cabin in a few years. I’d give it more stars if I could.

J'ai acheté cet appareil afin d'avoir une source d'électricité facile d'accès n'importe où n'importe quand, bien sûr ne consommant pas plus de 200 watts, présentement l'appareil semble très bien fonctionner, bien construit et contrairement aux commentaires lu précédemment la ventilation ne fonctionne pas toujours et n'est pas bruyante. le temps nous dira si c'est un bon achat

I’m a building automation engineer, so I do alot of programming on new construction job sights. One of the biggest issues I have my finding power outlets that have to power turned on. I found this inverter and decided to give it a chance. Using a 5AH Dewalt battery it completely charged my Lenovo laptop IPad, my work & personal phone, and my Vape. And still had still had a bar left on the battery. The light isn’t the brightest in the world but it does the job. With the small compact design. This is a must have buy if you’re working on a construction sight where you laptop is your main tool. If my inverter breaks I will buy another it was definitely worth the money. 10/10 recommend.
