Sorry for this lengthy review but I feel there are some things people should know before ordering. This 2025 New Year of The Snake Uncirculated Two and One Dollar Bill Special Edition set with dual 8's and a red COA envelope shipped and arrived a little sooner than expected. The notes arrived in their own cheap individual plastic sleeves and not sealed in acrylic protectors. The notes seam semi crisp but I am not 100% convinced they are Uncirculated. The sleeves will barely help to protect theses notes especially being overlayed and acrylic holders would have been the better choice and that is also what I thought I was going to receive at this cost. They also come with a numbered envelope being there are only suppose to be, 8,888 sets of these made in total. The overlay or whatever process is used on these notes has good looks and centering. The notes come with a COA, certificate of authentication but the serial number of the notes you receive is not marked anywhere on the COA, envelope, and or anywhere. So how do you know what notes go with what set of the supposed, 8,888 sets made? There is nowhere to even look this up! The COA company it is not a highly reputable company that I have ever heard of like, PSA, ETC... I just hope they stick to their word on only making 8,888 of this special edition sets, and or this is not some scam. Who knows and I now feel it is a big game of chance. Now that I have in hand what I purchased I probably would have passed based on cost, lack of acrylic holders, a who knows, fly by night COA company and no identifiers on the COA for note serial numbers. I gave these notes 3 starts for the cheap materials they came with. I would have returned this if it had not already been given out as a sealed gift. I should have opened it and looked first.
