works great as replacement for GE PFE28RSHGSS evaporator fan. Original lasted little over 10 years. This one Installed on 17-Feb 2025. Let see how long it lasts.

Decent aftermarket replacement fan, it runs smooth and silent and was an easy install. THe hardest part of the install is getting the fridge cleaned out to access it. It is also at a decent price making it a good option for a replacement or a spare to keep on hand if your current fan is on the verge of failure.

My fan failed on my French door GE profile fridge. I looked up the part on GE website and it was $60. Came to Amazon and found it many places for half that price. This was the cheapest at under $20. I had it next day and it was perfect fir and works like a charm. PLEASE NOTE: GE's website is loaded with complaints about these fans having durability issues. Seems like I was very lucky to get 7 1/2 years out of my original one. The "OEM" fan that GE sells in their packaging is every bit as much cheap Chinese fan as any you see here on Amazon so you may want to order 2 to have another one on hand should it fail in short order. Replacement was simple and straightforward.
