Unfortunately, this Pull Start Assembly didn't fit my 7.5 HP Briggs and Stratton engine. I didn't pay close enough to the model number that was clearly listed in the listing. It does appear to be well built and came with an extra pull cord with handle.

For the past couple of years the pull start on one of my old pressure washer engines was being problematic. Where I had to keep fussing with the recoil to get it to retract the entire rope between pulls. It was at a point that I wouldn't use the pressure washer because of the pull rope issues. This replacement pull start has brought that pressure washer a new life. It also came with an extra rope and pull handle. Recommended.

I bought this to replace one that had a broken recoil and was a PITA to start. My log splitter with a Briggs and Stratton 208cc has started on the first pull ever since this was installed. Simple.
