Both arrived looking okay but the motors will not run unless you turn them on and off over and over and adjust the speed control and then they will run. Turn it off and you have to repeat the process to make them work. The Motor runs hot after a few seconds which is not normal. Returned for a refund after the second shipment!

This is a nice looking stirrer over all that is why I purchased one. It's very sleek and looks bullet proof....BUT.....I do not trust the drive mechanism that this thing uses. It has a squeeky rubber clutch mechanism that is a huge weak point. If you run this under the slightest bit of a load and it is not fully engaged "meaning, running at full speed" it will have a very short life expectancy because the drive slips when not fully engaged operating at full rpm. I thought this would of used some speed type of electronic speed control like others but it does not. If you are going to spend this much money buy something else because this item will not hold up.

Essential for lab mixing, very powerful and she will run at high speed all day long. Great product. Order a shear mixing head with it and you will be able to duplicate any production product in the lab quickly and efficiently. A must have.
