This is helpful when I'm working on the car. I dropped a bolt in the engine bay and couldn't get it back. This little magnet works well. Seems to pick up anything I need no issues with the items being to heavy

Used this to pick up screws that fell into my pool after the recent hurricane destroyed my pool enclosure. Worked great. It was easy to use and picked the screws up with ease even pulling them through the water. Perfect around the house or outside.

I was super excited to receive this as I am building a playhouse for my daughter. The reason is because I am super clumsy and not the handiest person around so having this magnetic tool to help me pick up loose metals is a time saver! The grip was helpful and easy on the hand. The ability to adjust the height was needed as it helps extends to hard to reach places. I appreciated the light weight of the tool and the size as I am able to put it in my back pocket and pull it out when needed. The tool was able to pick up loose screws and other small items. I am excited to have this in my tool collection

This product is very cheaply made. The magnet fell off first. It appears it was glued on?Then the actual telescoping arm just broke in several pieces. I was only using this thing to fish out my cat's toy from under the couch. So...it wasn't being used roughly or in an unusual way. Would not recommend based on my experinece.

While I doubt that this is well suited for "garbage pickup", (my city has a service for this), it works great for picking up small parts. The build quality is good, the gripper works smoothly, the ring magnet at the tip is reasonably strong, but the LEDs were dim until I replaced the half-dead batteries that came with it. But, for under $10, I can't complain.One trick that I discovered: When retracted, the claw blocks much of the light from the internal LEDs. To get more light when looking for the capture target, push the claws open.
