These burrs are hard and sharp. They remove material quickly and are able to leave a pretty smooth surface. The burrs that have brazed heads are properly centered and spin with no perceptible vibration even at high RPM. At $16 for this set of 20 burrs (the price at the time of this review), these are a fantastic value. The assortment of shapes and sizes is fantastic. The shanks fit perfectly in my Dremel and in my pencil-style die grinders. Highly recommended.

If you’ve ever thought, "Wow, I really need to carve something super detailed and look like a crafting wizard while doing it," this set is for you. These burr bits are tough little guys that can handle everything from shaping wood to tackling soft metals. I popped a few into my rotary tool (let’s be honest, mostly because it makes me feel cool), and they zipped through wood like a hot knife through butter. Bonus: the case is super handy and keeps me from losing all the bits under my workbench. The double-cut design is awesome for quick material removal, but fair warning—these bits are aggressive. I wouldn’t recommend them for delicate finishing work unless you want your project to go from “fine detail” to “oops, that’s a crater.” They’re perfect for rough shaping, engraving, or even cleaning up stubborn metal bits on DIY projects. Also, don't try them with a drill unless you like the sound of disappointment—rotary tools are the way to go.Overall, this set is a great bang for your buck, especially if you love doing detailed work or want to pretend you're a metal sculptor in your garage. Just be prepared to vacuum up the aftermath—these bits don’t mess around!

This is my review of:20pcs 1/8" Shank Carbide Burr Set Compatible with Dremel Bits Tool Accessories Attachments Die Grinder Bits Carbide Drill Bits Rotary Tool Bits for Metal Stone Wood Carving Cutting Engraving PolishingAlthough the title is slightly misleading, the tools are solid Carbide, not just Carbide-edged. They are quite small, and I recommend using a Dremel-type tool instead of a drill. A drill would need to spin faster to make them effective. The title says polishing, yet there is no polishing tool, and they are too coarse for polishing. They are also too coarse for more than surface steel and iron work and maybe some light engraving or for use on Aluminum and other softer metals. They excel at carving wood and all but the hardest rocks, such as Obsidian or Quartzite. I plan to use them to make wood carvings, and I tried a few on a scrap piece of rock maple. Their performance was outstanding. The set comes in a handy case, as shown in the posted images, and there is a very good selection of cutting heads in various shapes and sizes. They are offered at a price that makes them an excellent value, and I highly recommend them.

This is a useful and convenient set of burrs for rotary tool set. My preferred rotary tool set is a B&D, and it fits and works nicely on it. The shank is 3.0 mm (see photo) not 1/8" (which is 3.2 mm), but it fits and stays in place. There are 10 long burr bits and 10 short ones (see photo) in the case. The long and short ones alternate and because of this the case is small. However, it is inconvenient to pull the short bits out and place them back in because you have to be either very careful or you need to remove an adjacent long bit to get the short one in and out. The short bits are too short to fit properly in the rotary tool--they go in only partway. The long bits are the proper length.I have worn out some brand name burr bits (which were much more costly) using them just on wood, but I can see these are more durable. However, I do not feel comfortable using these on steel, only on plastic, wood, or a soft metal such as aluminum or brass. Finally, these bits are somewhat grabby when used on wood, far more than using a small sandpaper cylinder. However, they produce tiny wood grains rather than wood dust as results from using sandpaper. I get more control and more gradual effect with sandpaper. However, these burr bits are much faster at removing substantial volumes of wood than sandpaper can be. They each have their virtues, and it is useful to have both on hand.
