I created a gallery wall of antique plates, after a few days they started falling off and several plates broke.

The adhesive is good so be sure to mark where you want the hanger as you don't want to take it off again. You can take off if a hard surface but attached on paper or cardboard it is not going to come off without damage to whatever you attached it to. I used it on some small pictures that I wanted to hang. They had hard backs I so could remove and readjust and reapply and it worked ok.
