Just bought a new leather sofa and we have 3 cats. First day I spent all day shoeing them away. I ordered these things expecting that they would not work. They surprised me, although my ocd hates seeing them on the furniture, I can live with it, at least for now

My ratings range from 1 star to 5 stars, depending on how well the product meets our needs and expectations.The 21-piece cat scratch furniture protector set is a solid solution for protecting my couch from my cat’s claws. The adhesive sticks well without leaving any residue when removed, which is a big plus. The large cover size is great, and it provides plenty of material to cover the high-traffic areas where my cat tends to scratch. However, the film is very shiny and quite noticeable, which is something I didn’t expect. It would be much more ideal if it had a matte finish to blend in better with the fabric. Despite the shine, I’m happy with how well it protects the couch, and it’s definitely a step up from other solutions I’ve tried in the past.Thank you for reading! So first, if you have a cat with the ability to tear your door frame apart, this won't work for you. It is thinner than most, probably right above standard laminating film. Thin enough that it's hard to lay flat without bubbles (does not come with smoothing tool). Now, that being said, if you have other uses in mind it may work well. I actually got this for my SUV. My third row seats fold and store away and I primarily use the area as cargo space. The carpet on the back of the second row is hard to get debris off of. So I took this film and put it over the back for some type of bumper guard. It worked absolutely amazing for that purpose. No more wood shavings or splinters on the back seat that don't like to vacuum up. It sticks to the seat fabric well with just enough barrier to keep my upholstery in good shape. So for projects, don't count this cat scratch film out. It's far cheaper than some products made for special purposes, and the durability against things that are not sharp is impressive. It worked extremely well for my use. I actually used a small piece on the wall as well where I have a door that damages my paint when opening it too much.
