We took it out and cut back some fairly thick vines and they worked really well. Almost too well (as my husband kept saying "don't cut your fingers!"). It's pretty self-explanatory - the batteries charge quickly and seem to last.The only comment I have, and this isn't enough to take a star off, is when turning them off the clippers don't automatically close. You have to have them closed then turn it off - they don't just close on their own. I don't know how these would normally work, this is my first pair, and it's only a mild inconvenience so maybe it's just me. Other than that though, these are great!!!!

This pruning shears kit comes with everything you need and it's really easy to use and works really well. I love that it comes with two batteries.

Had to get used to the weight, but chose this one because it was lighter than some others, & the design was more sleek, less bulky. At 70, I bought this to save my right hand, before arthritis might set in beyond help.This is fun to use, cuts clean & fast, large & small branches. Prune your roses, then prune small to medium branches on trees. Love the 2 battery option, but one battery goes on & on. Great little tool!
