I am really impressed with this pruner, it is much more powerful than I expected it to be. It really has some heft to it, and cuts through branches relatively effortlessly. I was not expecting it to have as much power as it does! I also really appreciate that it comes with 2 batteries. The blades are very sharp, both the fixed blade and the moveable one. I am also happy that they included a sharpening stone in here! The only cons to this are the case that it came in feels cheap, it's not well made. And I do wish there was a way to extend this so you could cut branches a little further away. But besides that, I am very happy with this item!

You would never think you needed a powered pruner, maybe never even knew it existed. However, once you use it, your mind will forever be changed. The unit feels like an impact driver in your hand by both its shape and weight. While it is not exactly lightweight, it is also not that much that you can't comfortably use for long periods of time. Where it wins is with the ease of using. A simple pull of the trigger activates the blade to drive straight through a branch. The difference in the amount of force you would use with manual pruners is A LOT! It drives closed as long as you hold the switch and immediately releases when you let off. The trigger pulls gently, and this can easily be operated while wearing gloves. The blade makes a clean, fast cut through green branches up to about 1-1/2". Deadwood was a coin toss.... some types of wood it cut and others it didn't do as well so for that get some anvil pruners or a small chainsaw. The batteries are nicely sized and last a long time. It's great to have two so when you do run out you can immediately swap them and keep working. My father helped cut wood with these, and he trimmed off the branches before the chainsaw came by. He would be unable to use manual pruners because of pain and weakness in his hands but he instantly fell in love with this battery powered unit. The shape and design of the unit was comfortable for him to hold, and prolonged use did not fatigue or hurt him.The digital display counts your cuts and also tells the battery power left. There is a sharpening stone included so you can freshen up your blade edge when needed. A simple bottle is included to apply oil to the blades. I guess you just drop some lubricant anywhere metal parts move to keep things running smoothly. The case included holds both batteries, the charger, the shears, and little accessories together so everything is always ready to use.The ability to use effortlessly with one hand allowed me to do much more cutting than I could ever have done with hand pruners. The trigger needs pulled multiple times to start as a safety, so you never accidentally cut anything you do not intend to cut. Once activated it keeps going. Also, to store with the blades closed you need to hold the trigger till its fully closed and before releasing turn the power button off. This is a winner, and I would want to have this along with a small chainsaw to do yardwork for any place that has lots of trees or brush.

We have a large yard with many kinds of trees and plantings, with never-ending unruly wisteria vines that grow quickly. Light work is done by lawn mowing crew and heavy pruning is a tree crew to hire - but for everything in between we gotta do it ourselves. We have used loppers and long-handled pruners and both have their moments, but are kind of a workout for the arms or shoulders. For anything I can reach with my hands, this is my new go-to tool!I tested it out on some 1 inch wisteria roots and some low-hanging 1-1/2 inch cherry tree branches. It takes a few minutes to get the hang of the trigger control functions to open/close/cut with the blade. It sliced right through the 1 inchers, and for the thicker branch it took 2 cuts. The first cut went half way and stuck in the branch, so immediately pulling the trigger one more time made the slice. What I like:-Easy to operate trigger-Sharp blade (for now?)-2 rechargeable batteries provided-neat carry case for storageDislikes:-Heavy in the hand, not for weak wrists-Not a long reach for higher or hard to reach branchesI would also be really careful if you have kids or pets, not to leave this out unattended. It might look like a fun toy that makes a "cut-cut" noise and beeps... my high-anxiety imagination keeps running through the possibilities - eek!

I often find myself in a position where I can't get good leverage on my pruning shears to make a cut, particularly as I age. These electric pruning shears are just the ticket to handle that problem! They come with several accessories, including 2x rechargeable 5.0Ah batteries and a sharpening stone. They are comfortable in the hand and are fairly easy to use, and seem rugged enough.I love that this uses the same 21V batteries as my mini-chainsaw, sawzall and leaf blower, giving me extra large-capacity batteries for whatever tool I'm using!
