The packaging or product description did not mention that these are coarse thread. I confirmed this with a 5mm coarse thread bolt. I also did a magnet test to ensure that they were actually stainless steel and not just zinc. They passed the test with no issues. I also compared pricing with the store where I usually buy my fastening hardware. An individual 5mm nut was .46 , so the current price of 8.99 is a real bargain. I also like the compact plastic case. It fits easily in a drawer and it keeps them separate from other nuts

this set of SAE nuts is a great way to quickly replace existing (lost) nuts that are sae (non-metric). sorted and labeled, it's very convenient and easy to find the nut you need.

I try to keep a reasonable supply of various types of hardware on hand to prevent extra trips to the hardware store in the middle of a project. It's especially important to keep non-standard things on hand because the hardware store may not have it in stock at the moment you need it. Stainless steel hardware is less common than galvanized or zinc plated - so I try to keep some on hand.These nuts are clearly made of stainless steel, so they shouldn't rust over time. The threading looks crisp and the outer faces of the nuts are cleanly made. They are nicely packaged in a plastic box that won't take up much space on a shelf, in a bin or a drawer. I'm happy to have a package on the shelf, ready to go when I need one.

I used to have a large assortment of screws, nuts, bolts, etc. but most everything rusted when a bad storm tore some shingles off the backside of my shed that I couldn’t see. The water that then leaked into the shed caused a high moisture level and many metal surfaces rusted, including the hardware I had in there. I love it when assortments like this appear because I can then replace several sizes at one time. The fact that these are also stainless steel makes them even better than what I had. I used my sizer (pic) to test if the sizing and threading were true and they are. The five sizes I was able to test turned freely and smoothly. I could distribute these into the tray cabinets I was using before, but I think I’ll keep them in this handy case that they came in.

Any time I come across one of these assorted nut/bolt containers, I have to buy them. As an avid DIYer, I am always needing something I don't have. This kit is great, has a variety of smaller metric sizes, and the kit is very compact which makes it easy to store.
