I ordered these quick links to suspend shade canopies at our campsite. These links are plenty strong for the task and will keep the shades from becoming detached in the wind. Pleasing copper look and marine grade, so they will resist corrosion if left up for the season. I can think of lots of other uses for these links and may be ordering more soon.

I used this to attach a bracket to the chain on my engine hoist. Plenty strong enough for what I needed. Good quality. No rust. Not sure about the "marine grade" claim since this link is not stainless - I wouldn't use it around saltwater.

This are typical, small quick links, used for connecting chain or securing a variety of items. These are made of steel with a copper-colored finish. That makes them look more like a decorative item, for hanging a lamp or flower pot in the home. The finish isn’t perfectly uniform, which gives somewhat of an “antique” look.I didn’t order these because of the color. I just needed some quick links, and these will work just as well as the plain steel ones you typically see. I tested all eight, and they each open wide enough to clear a 5/16 inch drill shank (see photo). That’s quite good – I have had some other ¼ inch quick links that only opened about ¼ inch. Also note that these are apparently 6 mm, which is a bit smaller than ¼ inch. That’s not a big difference, but the description calls the ¼ inch and it might matter to some users. The price for eight of these is pretty reasonable, and they’ll do the job whether or not the color is important to you.

I used these screw links to attach a 3/8" turnbuckle to a forged eyebolt. They certainly seem robust enough to handle the 500-600lbs of pull I have on them. The locking screw portion threaded easily together. The finish on the product was well done.

I'll probably throw one away the threads in it are ruined I have to run it in with a wrench and it's a fight the whole way. The other one works fantastic so 3 star for 50% functional
