I bought the relay because my old one had blown out. I confirmed its compatibility prior to installation. However, after 20 minutes, I noticed that my refrigerator compressor started to overheat, as I was monitoring the temperatures. It turned out that the new relay had melted and the winding wasn’t operating properly. I immediately shut off my fridge to prevent further damage.

Hi, guys! Thank you for this amazing product. I'm a "DO IT YOURSELFER! and I Highly Recommend this Starter and Relay combo. We own a Kenmore Elite refrigerator. I was told the part could cost $150 or more. I researched the symptoms and cleaned the vents with vacuum, disconnected the part from the compression and checked the websites I usually purchase from and ordered from this company.
