I purchased this seeing that it fit my 97' Chevy Express with the 6.5L diesel. It was an old army depot truck however super low miles and well old parts that never got replaced.Bc of the age, I checked electrical and it was a flasher unit. (Whoops) Already purchased and installed the turn signal switch- soft click up and down, nice part altogether.My mechanic friend said the cruise control wouldn't work if it didn't come with the model. Didn't even notice until I received the part. Given, this truck is the base base base model. It's got stuff that was never installed from the factory specifically for the army base I purchased it from.Sure enough I pushed cruise, accelerated with the little piece on the switch handle, and it stayed in cruise control. I pushed it to off position and the pedal came back up from being compressed. Best 30 dollars I've ever spent, cruise control for 30 dollars? The mechanic was laughing when I told him. Learn something new everyday. Long journeys with the truck now are a breeze.Buy it. Factory fit cruise control for cheap. Nothing to think about.

I replaced my multifunction switch due to the fact that the hazard light switch was not functional.Replaced it with this one.Perfect fit.Still working fine.So far it switches functions cleanly and crisply.There seems to be no extra movement in the switch, and it was easy to install.
