This was used on a Kohler K301 in a Cub Cadet 124.Out of the box, it looks just fine but once you mount it to the engine, nothing lines up the head pipe coming out of the motor needs to turn, but you can’t turn it because it’s been there for 50 years and is rusted in, there bracket mount that goes to the shroud plate on top of the engine doesn’t line up at all. I had to drill a new hole and it was still cocked after I bolted the muffler to the head pipe I couldn’t use the Strap clamp that came with the muffler because the bolt broke immediately, because the pipe is way bigger than the head pipe and it wouldn’t crush on. I was able to use my original mounting strap after I bent everything in with Channel lock pliers!I’m not impressed for the $12 it saves you it might’ve been worth getting the part from “I save tractors” or local lawnmower shop but Idk everything is probably Chinese garbage!!!

Well made nice construction. I had to weld a pipe to the bottom/side to aim the exhaust out the side of the tractor. C121. Worth the work, since stock is unobtanium. Used a SS 1" close nipple from engine to inlet of muffler.

Used it on my predator engine in my golf cart. Added a simple exhaust clamp and it fit my exhaust manifold perfectly and snugly. Has a good tone and helped muffle the loud engine it was purchased for. Seems good quality at install.

Heavy construction and surprisingly well made. After many years of threatening to get rid of that LOUD pepperpot "muffler" I finally put the excuses aside and did it. The whole machine is still not quiet by any means, but it took away that terribly loud, sharp, piercing exhaust with a lower tone thump, thump, thump sound.Bought a new pipe nipple and cut to length to remove the outer threaded end, cut a strip of 28ga sheet metal to take up the slight gap between the muffler intake and the exhaust nipple. Nice and snug before tightening the clamp so it won't distort the muffler. 1-3/8 exhaust clamp U-bolt fits a little tight which makes it and the saddle fit perfect. Not sure what the "paint" is they put on it but it smells like burning epoxy paint for a good while and makes your eyes water (lol). Only have a few hours of run time but all looks good with no issue so far.

I liked the adaptability of this product, it is designed for a cub cadet but with some exaust clamps it was a standardized length that fit between the frame rails of my John deere 165 hydro. The tone is lower then the stock muffler and was 1/3 of the price of a used john deere replacement. I had to utilize the factory exaust pipe and plumb it into the exaust. I used common automotive clamps from the parts store and an adapter for under $20.00.....the muffler did smoke and smell of burning paint when I initially started the engine and that is expected. I let the mower heat and cool for 2 cycles and the smell and smoke was gone and I am satisfied with this product and would purchase it again.

This is a good one. It sounds like a tractor and I like it. I did take a 1.25" hole saw too the end to make a big hole in the baffles in the first chamber then sealed up the hole in the end because it couldn't breathe enough to keep that end from overheating. After drilling the hole it seems to be the same volume.
