I've been working on TJ's for 20 years... so it's not like I need super detailed instructions, but some "time saving" tips and tricks would have been nice. What order should I do things in? What custom tools do I need to make in order to tighten the nuts? FWIW I installed a flat belly at the same time, and had to cut a 24mm wrench in half, and grind it down low profile.

After complete disassembly of our Jeep we discovered the wrong part was shipped. Upon contacting manufacturer customer support was beyond rude. We will be ordering the correct part from another vendor.

Installed this on my 03 Rubicon as a precursor to a body lift/tummy tuck. Well built cable. Everything is heavy duty to last the lifetime of the Jeep. Installation was a total pain in the ass. Though it's a fairly straight forward install. It's also a really tight spot making basic mechanic wrenches almost useless. I ended up using a reciprocating saw to cut some of the old bracketing off to get better access.Overall, I'm very happy with the end product and it smoothed out shifting into 4Hi and 4Lo.

I bought a lifted Jeep (4" lift) that PO installed, however, shifting to 4L was not working as designed. Installed this conversion kit and zero problems the past two years.

The item arrived quickly and well packed. There was no instructions but I knew that would be the case. My question is why? For the most part it was pretty easy to figure out but a simple diagram instruction page showing location of brackets and order of hardware on the cable. There wasn’t that much hardware but one of the two special fittings was bad and you can’t reach anyone at the manufacture. I had to fabricate a replacement but it surely doesn’t work as well as the original. This was clear but the shifting was not nearly as crisp or good as advertised. We’ll see if I ever hear from Saavy?Well I had to revise my review because Savvy really stepped up. They did respond to my contacts and to my surprise they really went above and beyond. I only requested that the hardware be replaced due to the initial problems. But Savvy quietly replaced the entire product and I received it very quickly. This actually is very appreciated because with all the attempts to install the original caused early wear in the cable and hardware. I have spent thousands of dollars in Jeep parts from nearly all major manufacturers and this was one if not the best service results I have received. Thank you Savvy!

The cable install went well on my 2004 Rubicon, and functions as described! I'm extremely pleased with the linkage; smooth operation and much easier shifting. I highly recommend it!

Dinged a star for no directions...in reality for me its no big deal as it does seem almost intuitive as long as you are slightly mechanically inclined and pay attention to what you are taking off and how it connects to the remaining levers. You can also do an online search and find some instruction on Jeep forums and/or the competitor website (almost identical product) to give you a jump start if you need it. It's a very stout piece of equipment and the cable is very smooth.
