I'm a hard core fly fishing guy I also have been making my own fly's since I was 10 or 11 and soon will be 31 . These fly's are ok they should hold up I did the good ole twist test and found all of them but one twist some so I took a small amount of fly tying head cement on those that did not pass the twist test. I'm confident in them to catch fish but felt like the amount they moved when I gave the twist test was kinda a sign they mass produce tyed and it wouldn't have took but a few seconds to put some head cement on them so they didn't twist all way around the hook. I do how ever like the mop thickness they use as well as the different color of mop material and the bright tungsten beads and yes they are tungsten beads I did test that. Now for new fly fishing lady's and fellas who don't tye they own fly's these mops should be a staple in any new fly fishing anglers fly box also if ya to lazy to tye your own these are decent to pick up. Mop fly's rather you love them or hate them they always produce fish and one of my fly's I tye the most of and use the most to catch monster trout stock and wild. I'm giving them 4 stars due to all but one fly didn't pass the twist test. But I think they should hold up good now that I put head cement on the ones that needed it but they no where near as nice as mine I tye my self.

Nice little box. Good colors. Up hooks skip over rock pretty well. Broke off another fly, tied a small gray one on, first drift, hooked up ! Skunked the rest of the day but.....Good early season NE bottom miner.

First time trying fly fishing after decades of spin fishing. Went up to the Mammoth lakes area and used these purple flys in the Upper Owens where the fish can get spooked easily. The moment these flys hit the water the fish started coming up. I only landed one, had a large trout on but it snapped the line. Will keep using these.

Ordered these flies for a fishing trip to the Little Mo in Arkansas. I am very please with the quality of the flies, well made and a good assortment of colors. Fish can be picky so it’s good to have an assortment to keep them biting. The company even threw in a free fly storage box which is higher quality than any thing I’ve found to purchase. I will be buying more from this company.
