Not 16 gauge as advertised. It’s seems like it’s well made enough, it’s just too flimsy for chicken pens.

We bought this hardware cloth to build a 5ft tall fence to protect our chickens. It was extremely difficult finding 5ft wire that had a small enough mesh for what we wanted - and what we could find was crazy expensive. We had to wait for this to become available but very happy we did. Like all wire mesh, in my experience, it's difficult to work with but thankfully it was durable enough that it did not split or crack when installing at angles. Would definitely buy again.

Reasonable cost for multiple uses. Used it to cover side of rabbit pens cheaper than wire. Covered sides of fence for young chick's so not to escape an detour hawks as a top cover

Found some rust event though it is coated with vinyl. Other listings claim galvanized up front in description, as well as vinyl coating. Not sure if the wire gauge includes the coating. Good rigidity.
