For Doorbells
1.Keep adapter unplugged.
2.Install wires from 24 volt adapter into the terminals for your doorbell unit (Simply attach the two exposed copper wires to the doorbell and tighten the screws, regardless of positive or negative polarity)
3.Plug adapter into outlet.
4.Power up and verify your doorbell is receiving necessary power using the accompanying application.
1.Cut off the power of circuit breaker.
2.Install the wire from your 24 volt adapter to the “C” terminal and the other wire to the “RC” terminal. You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.
3.Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker. Install the panel on the thermostat.

I use this to power my Google nest doorbell. Set up was breeze. Works as advertised powering doorbell using 24VAC power output. I wish the cord length was longer to allow cord routing while the transformer connects to an outlet within the house.

The power adapter works as advertised: it generates 23.8V AC and successfully powers the Ecobee thermostat when connected to the C and Rc ports.
